NDCS (the National Deaf Children’s Society) is the leading charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people.

When NDCS asked us to help them create some lesson plans for Year 8 and 9 deaf students we were absolutely delighted to help.

We wrote three lesson plans that teachers of the deaf could deliver to their students quickly and clearly, because we know how busy teachers can be. We wanted to give teachers lessons that they could pick up and deliver with as little stress as possible, whilst ensuring that essential areas of the curriculum were covered.

The lessons aim to encourage students to be creative by producing a film, creating a stop motion animation or writing a comic strip.

All of these lessons encourage students to produce something that can be uploaded to NDCS’ website for young people, The Buzz.
