Project Explanation
When the world’s most famous hotel – The Ritz London – came calling, we were delighted to check in with them.
The Marketing Department wanted to ensure the hotel’s young guests have the best stay possible and asked us to help. After making site visits and talking to key staff, we sent a number of proposals – and The Ritz team selected a welcome pack called kidz@theritz.
The pack contains a “Ritz purple” draw-string bag given to the children when they first arrive at the iconic building. Inside is a 16-page booklet filled with fun and facts about this historic London landmark, plus stickers and a membership card.
The booklet introduces the young guests to some of the hotel’s famous experiences (afternoon tea in The Palm Court, anyone?), sights and staff – as well as some of the less well-known aspects. For example, did you know The Ritz London has four beehives on its roof?
Children are encouraged to find their way around the hotel and get their booklets stamped by the staff when they find one of the “featured” sights, as well as enjoy a free ice cream. Tasty!
We loved working with the team and having our meetings in The Ritz’s gold-leafed splendour. It’s another of London’s famous sights, along with Canary Wharf, that we are proud to call a B3 Creative client.
